Is this actually custom AI, or are you just installing a chatbot plugin?
Custom. I build the integration layer between your WordPress/WooCommerce data and the AI service (OpenAI, Anthropic, Algolia, etc.) — the plugin you install from a marketplace has none of your product data, no CRM sync, and breaks on every WC update. What I build is trained on your content and integrated with your systems.
What AI services do you integrate with?
OpenAI (GPT-4o), Anthropic Claude, Algolia AI Search, Typesense, DeepL, and any AI service that exposes a REST API. The AI service changes — the integration pattern is what I specialise in.
How is this different from what a $500 chatbot agency does?
They're installing Tidio or Crisp and calling it AI. I build a custom plugin layer that queries your WooCommerce product data, handles escalation routing, syncs to your CRM, and survives WC updates. Different category of work.
Do I need to change my hosting?
No. Everything runs via API calls from your existing WordPress install. The AI processing happens on the third-party service's servers — your hosting load doesn't change.
